Welcome
Trilby Elementary School is home of the Eagles and has
approximately 340 students in grades pre-school through
six.
The mission of Trilby is to foster
independence and enhance self-concept through learning
structured for success. Learning is a life-long
process that needs to involve home, school and community.
The staff at Trilby works together
to help students reach their fullest potential. Everyone
is treated with dignity and respect. Any behavior or
action that helps someone grow and mature will be encouraged.
Staff will keep students focused on our school guidelines:

- Treat
everyone and every thing with respect
We hope to create an environment
where courtesy and kindness prevail. Throughout
the year, we will emphasize our school motto, “Learners
of Today and Leaders of Tomorrow.” Together we
will make Trilby Elementary School a warm and exciting
place where new learning occurs every day.
Trilby has earned the Governor’s
Buckeye Best Gold Award for the past two years which
emphasizes a healthy environment for students and staff.
Our Trilby staff truly cares about our students and
we work closely with parents to help students achieve
to the best of their abilities.

Attention 3rd - 8th grade parents and students! Join us for an exciting workshop on Tuesday, April 13 at 6:30 p.m. in the Jefferson Auditorium. We are excited to have author, motivational speaker, columnist and media personality, Bruce Boguski, here in our district for this exciting event. Congratulations to Trilby Elementary on being recognized as a School of Promise for the 2008 - 2009 school year! In being named a School of Promise, Trilby is part of an elite group of 134 schools, in Ohio, recognized this year for high achievement in reading and mathematics for all groups of students.
