Welcome
We extend warm greetings from the staff of Hiawatha, home of the TimberWolves. We have the privilege of educating over 300 students, kindergarten through sixth grade, from West Toledo and Point Place.
Hiawatha has been rated an Effective school by the Ohio Department of Education. Our students receive a comprehensive state standards-based education from a dedicated staff of professionals. From our teachers to our support staff, each of us is committed to your child’s achievement. The staff also nurtures each child to grow socially and emotionally into the best person they can be. Hiawatha fosters positive behavior support through our PAWS program which encourages Pride, Attitude, Work Habits, and Self Control in all school and school-related settings/activities.
Parental involvement is strongly encouraged through attendance at events and activities, as well as our Hiawatha Parent Organization which meets monthly. Your school involvement provides many benefits to your son/daughter. We thank you for your partnership with us.
At Hiawatha, we pledge our efforts to promote your child’s success!
